
In practice, Dr. Chan provides comprehensive eye and vision care for all age groups, with an interest in the care of diabetic patients, children, contact lens wearers and those with ocular pathology.
Dr. Chan remains active in volunteer service to his profession. He has served as President of the Vision Institute of Canada, a notforprofit charitable optometric clinic in Toronto, and also as President of the Ontario Association of Optometrists. He has been a guest speaker at numerous conferences and has been featured in several television interviews and print articles.
An avid traveller, Dr. Chan has ventured to all seven continents, including Antarctica in 2005. He enjoys photography, snowboarding and other outdoor pursuits.
