Queensway Optometric Centre has been serving Mississauga for over 55 years. We treat our patients like family and always strive to provide top-quality vision care in a warm and friendly environment.
During your eye exam, we can address any of your concerns and look for eye disease and vision problems. We understand that crisp, clear vision is the key to your quality of life.
We also believe in giving back to the community. We are proud to partner with local schools to promote children’s vision and raise money for Optometry Giving Sight.
Queensway Optometric Centre is Canada’s #1 fundraising practice for the 2022 World Sight Day Challenge! Our practice raised an amazing $10,073!
We are no strangers to participating in the World Sight Day Challenge, which we have been doing since 2009—our team at Queensway added a few new creative fundraising initiatives in 2022 to help contribute to our incredible success.
Led by our Office Manager, Terri Fracassa, and implemented by our dedicated doctors and staff, our fundraising events included:
We also incentivized patients to donate at various levels:
Our optometrists generally donated a full day of their eye exam fees in November, and donors’ names were displayed on the Glasses Wall of Fame.
Our team has collectively raised over $126,000 to date! We want to give a huge thanks to everyone involved and reiterate our continued support to helping people in need around the world to see.
Our practice is conveniently located across the street from the Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Hospital.
